We are really loving simple designs in neutral tones at the moment. Perhaps it because neutral tones always help to calm our busy minds or maybe it’s just that sometimes simple is best. We came across this beautiful tutorial on how to make your own wooden string hangers and thought it was perfect. We found it here.
You’ll need following:
Wood hangers, large wood beads 60 mm, drill, screwdriver, hammer, strong hook and leather cord.
Start by drilling a hole from the bottom of each hangers. Place your screw driver in the hole and tap with your hammer until the hook is falling off.
Shorten your cord to the desired length and thread it through the bead. Tie a knot and repeat with the other hangers.
Tie all your ends together around your hook and you’re finished.
You can keep the hangers au natural. But they would also look pretty awsome if you painted them in different vibrant colours!
Beautiful no? We think we will keep them neutral.
