Popping out or going out out?

Tuesday evening was the fantastic press night opening of Shoot the Crow by Owen McCafferty, directed by Emma Jordan (Prime Cut Productions) at Belfast’s Grand Opera House.

An hilarious and moving homage to the working man

Starring Paddy Jenkins, Packy Lee, Marty Maguire and Walter McMonagle

Four tilers are working on a Belfast building and dreaming of better things. There’s an opportunity to make a few bob on the sly, but not all of them can commit the same petty crime.

(Following their 2011 critically acclaimed tour, Prime Cut Productions take to the road again with this “irresistible comedy” (The Telegraph) which has delighted audiences around the world from the West End to Tokyo).

It will be on tour throughout Ireland until the end of April. We urge to go see it! Fantastic work. All dates and venues HERE.

Also on at the moment at the Black Box is an exhibition of the very lovely illustrations of  Clive McFarland.

“Opens 2nd March and continues until 31st March

An exhibition of work from illustrator Clive McFarland whose characters have been described as ‘packed full of so much hapless charm, you can’t help instantly falling in love.’ (pufferfish.ie).

Take this opportunity to see his work in the Green Room at Black Box”

They really are beautiful, we’re looking forward to heading down to the exhibition.

See you there?
