So, remember January? When we made all those new year’s resolutions?
One made here at Handsome and Pretty was to learn new skills – particularly of the handmade variety.
But where could one go to learn these skills?
“Where” you ask? Here’s where.
Very excitingly, the Katie-half of Handsome and Pretty will be running a beginners quilting class at the wonderful Crescent Arts Centre.
The 8 week course begins in only a couple of weeks (17/04/12).
“In an effort to keep alive the beautiful crafts that are being lost to the modern age, come and learn how to make a beautiful quilt to give as a special gift or keep you warm on your sofa next winter.”
To book, or for further information check here.
If a one day wonder is more your thing, or you don’t have the time or can’t afford to sign up to an 8 week class, then check out the one day workshop in making some cute children’s toys.
“Bring a personal touch to your child’s toy collection or create some extra special gifts for little ones that you know and love.”
