Friday, is the new Friday

Oh hello everyone, we made it! We made it to the weekend! Hurrah!

Tis been quite an eventful seven days. So much so, that lots of other things we wanted to mention didn’t get a look in. So here are a few …

On Wednesday we featured two images of BonBon Balloons

and so we really should tell you more …

“Bonbon is a balloon company based in North London. We create the most wonderful balloons that you ever did see!

Bonbon balloons come in a rainbow of colours. Each balloon has a beautiful decorative string that has been hand crafted. On request they can also be individually designed so they’re unique to you or your recipient.

You can send a bonbon balloon as a gift for any occasion. On arrival it will float up out of the box and the strings will carry your own specially personalised message.

Our concept is to create something special that will make you and others smile, whilst being a beautiful feature in any surrounding.”

Secondly, Misterman, the one man show written by Enda Walsh at The National Theatre, London. Cillian Murphy is simply astounding.

Inishfree might seem like a quaint Irish town, but fierce evangelist Thomas Magill knows better… It is down to Thomas, with God on his shoulder, to save this sinful place. But the townsfolk are not listening, an angel is misbehaving and a barking dog will not be silenced. Just how far will Thomas go in his quest for salvation?

‘The electrifying Cillian Murphy… Enda Walsh, one of the most fiercely individual voices in the theatre today… a seductive and terrifying portrait of a luminous madness that dares you not to look away.’ New York Times

On until 28th May, so if you’re in London, make it your business to go see it.

We were very sad to hear this week of the passing of Maurice Sendak, the wonderful author or Where the Wild Things Are and In The Night Kitchen

The Guardian featured this wonderfully honest and open interview with the author from last year. It is beautifully raw.

And don’t you go thinking we’ve forgotten about this weeks playlist … Oh no.

We are simply saving the best to last. This week we have the wonderful front men of The Holy Innocents choosing the tunes – how exciting for all your ears!

And that, our friends, draws this week to a close. We thank you all again for your support and comments regarding our film. It has had 270 views already!

We really want to encourage more comment making – however brief – it’s so great to hear your thoughts, it helps us along immensely.

thank you again and happy weekend,

katie and lisa

p.s. don’t forget to pop over to the Pure Harte shop to buy all the beautiful clothes featured in It’s Okay to Forget
