I know we are all grown up now or rather we are supposed to be but does anybody else  still mostly feel like 13 year old girls/boys. In honour of our younger inner selves we are hoping to get ourselves down to the Waterfront on Saturday to watch one of our absolute favourite children’s films which is showing as part of their Movie’s Through the Ages season.

The Goonies

Brothers Mikey and Brandon Walsh’s family is moving because developers are replacing their neighbourhood with a golf course… unless enough money is raised to stop its construction. They discover a pirate treasure map and set out with their friends on a quest to find the treasure and save their neighbourhood.

Twill be brilliant.

The Iveagh Gardens

“DRAMA LOVERS HAVE been invited to head to Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens next month for a free outdoor production of one of William Shakespeare’s best-loved plays.

The Tempest tells the story of Prospero and his daughter Miranda who have been stranded on a strange, deserted island for 12 years – unfolding an enchanting tale of sibling rivalry, magic, romance, comedy and redemption.

Shows will start at 7pm on weeknights (8-10 August) and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday (11 and 12 August).”

We love Shakespeare and we love free events so it’s the perfect combination.

Anybody feel like learning something new that is tasty and delicious well then get yourselves down to The Make Lounge for a chocolate making workshop.
